Residual Value Lease Guide (RVLG)

The Residual Value Lease Guide (RVLG) provides a fast, convenient way to estimate residual values for use in writing SmartLease ® transactions. To view a complete RVLG guide book that details all eligible models and residuals, select the Edition Link that corresponds with your desired time frame. Important information on how to use this site is also provided below.

Edition Release:

  • RVLG editions are issued every two months to reflect changes in residual values and depreciation
  • RVLG editions are released with general time periods as Jan-Feb, Mar-Apr, May-Jun, Jul-Aug, Sep-Oct, and Nov-Dec
  • RVLG edition effective dates are established by Ally in accordance with market needs

Edition Revisions:

  • RVLG editions are updated as Ally determines is necessary, based on new or revised information
  • New and/or revised vehicle residual data is typically received from ALG on a weekly basis
  • Updates to RVLG editions are identified with a revision number and changes are itemized on the “What’s New?” page

RVLG editions are intended for electronic viewing; file printing and off-site storage is not recommended. Since RVLG editions are subject to revision, we recommend that you check back daily for vehicle and residual updates. For your convenience, a site update indicator is provided below.
